Parthiv Shivling Puja

Shiv Mahima Stotra

Pushpdanta stole flowers from a palatial garden of king Chitraratha. As a result, the king could not perform puja. Fed up with this act of Gandharva, The king placed Bilva Patras on the floor. Unaware of this, Pushpadant stepped on these holy Bilva Patras and became a victim of Lord Shiva’s anger and lost his divine power of being invisible. To pacify Lord Shiva, Pushpadanta sang stotras, which are known as Shiva Mahima stotras.
