Navdurga means nine manifestations of Maa Durga. The Navadurga’s are Goddess Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayini, Kaalratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidhatri. The nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped especially during Navratri or nine night festival. During Navratri each day one form of Goddess Durga is worshipped and revered. Goddess Durga is a warrior Goddess, for Her devotees She is the Supreme Consciousness, the source of all creation and the Universe.
