Maha Rudra Puja Service Include:

Maha Rudra Yagna is divided into five sections:

Ganpati Atharvashirsha: No puja or ritual would be complete without invoking Lord Ganesha, the Obstacle Remover. The oldest extant literature about Lord Ganesha, Ganpati Atharva, offers homage to him. Ganesha is characterized as the energy that is the same for all deities.

Anganyas: Before beginning the Shri Rudram, the person doing the puja gives flowers to all of the gods, then places some on their head. This act is performed to acknowledge that they contain Rudra’s energy. Only after invoking Rudra in one’s body is it possible to do the Rudra Puja.

Panchamrut Snanam: After Anganyas, the panchamrut performs Shiva Lingam abhishekam (worship). The panchamrut’s constituents symbolize the Pancha-tattvas (the five elements of which the universe is made – space, air, fire, water, and earth). By providing the five components of the panchamrut, all of the tattvas in this world are appeased. Offering a blend of these five over a Shivling represents pacifying the five elements throughout time and space.

Namakam: Namakam is the recognition of Shiva tattva’s presence in everything. This section of Rudram recognizes that everyone and everything is made up of the same energy.

Chamakam: We know that we contain all of the things that exist in the universe. As a result, it is here that we honor the presence of Rudra within us.
